While working as an accounts assistant, Mero began to write and compose his first original songs and this eventually led to his first record deal in December 2010 with Neaubreed Production and the release of “This Party” in 2011. Mero returns in 2012 with the radio friendly “Me & My Friends” which is released via UNG Music and is set to leave a resounding lasting mark on the Afrobeats music scene in the coming months and years. Ready to take centre stage again, Mero is working with the likes of 2Kriss, OY Productions and Mos Hood on his forthcoming debut album which is soon to be released.
Introducing UK-based Afrobeat artist MERO - real name Adebunmi Adeniyi - with his distinct artistic talents and performance flair, he is closely linked to fast-rising record label UNG Music and acts such as Yemi Rush and high flying UK-based rapper Kida Kudz. Born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, Mero moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a career in Accounting but music has always been his first love and finally, the young up and comer realized that he just could not see himself doing any other thing apart from music.
